Almost Raw No-Bakes

This is a recipe for almost raw no-bakes, a twist on the traditional no-bake cookie recipe. I first stumbled upon a variation of this recipe on goneraw.com, a website with tons of raw food recipes uploaded by users.

I call this recipe almost raw because I use regular old fashion oats (not to be confused with quick oats which cook really fast, old fashion oats take 10-20 minutes when cooking). Also, it has syrup and even though some raw recipes use it and call it a neutral item, technically it's not raw. You can use oat groats in this recipe, but I have never tried it so cannot attest to how it will turn out!

Ingredients

Chocolate

1 cup oats
1/4 cup raw almond butter
1/8 cup raw cacao powder
1/8 cup syrup

Chocolate Goji

1 cup oats
1/4 cup raw almond butter
1/8 cup raw cacao powder
1/4 cup goji berries
1/8 cup syrup

Cinnamon Raisin

1 cup oats
1/4 cup raw almond butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup raisins
1/8 cup syrup

Play around with the amounts of ingredients that are listed, I actually don't measure anything when I make these, I just toss a bit of this and that in and make them.

Instructions

Mix everything in a bowl and eat! You can also roll these into little balls and place them in the fridge and eat them later.

A note on food combinations: If you are adamant about making proper food combinations these aren't ideal for you. However, if you are used to eating junk or can handle the once in a while poor combination then enjoy!
