How to Make Easy Guacamole

Conventional health wisdom explains that the human body needs a diet low in fat in order to remain fit, lean, and healthy. It's funny that although many people eat diets high in fat filled with burgers, chips, candy bars, and fried foods....they avoid the avocado....simply, because it's "high" in fat. Well, if you follow conventional views and don't want to change your eating habits from high fat junk foods I suppose I understand why you don't have the room to spare to fit the fats in from the avocado.

It's downright terrible that the avocado is avoided by many individuals because of it's fat content. It's even worse that some view it as being unhealthy because it has a lot of fat. The poor lonely avocado, avoided by many and seen as a guilty indulgence by others.

The avocado is one of the most wonderfully healthy fruits to eat. Not only does it contain healthy fats but it also loaded with potassium, B vitamins, vitamin K, vitamin E, fiber, and many other vital nutrients.

Avocados are great to use in salads and smoothies, as spreads on sandwiches, and of course for guacamole. Here is a simple guacamole recipe I often use to enjoy a daily avocado:

Simply Easy Guacamole

1 avocado
1 clove garlic
1 roma tomato
1/8 cup onion
1 squeeze of lime
1-2 dashes of sea salt
1-3 dashes of cayenne pepper

While there are many different guacamole recipes I like this one because it's easy to make and I usually have all of the ingredients for it right on hand.

All you have to do to make this is cut up/mash the avocado, mince the garlic and onions, cut up the tomato (i usually remove the insides and just use the outer part), and then combine it in a bowl. Squeeze a little lime juice and dash some salt and cayenne pepper on, mix it up a bit more and if you can wait let it set a little while to allow the flavors to combine.

If you have a food processor you can use that as an easy way to cut and combine everything and remember everything is easily adjustable to fit your own personal preferences, so experiment!
